Measuremants for upper garments : suits, blazers, tuxedos, tailcoats, strollers suits, overcoats and uniforms
ATTENTION !!! All measurements should be taken from person dressed in shirt or t-shirt.
A - HEIGHT
We measure from tip of head to the floor.
B - NECK TO WAIST
Measure vertically from the large bone at the base of the neck to the waist line.
Simpler is put on well fits blazer or shirt and measure from collar seam place until waist line.
If you have a problem you can easy skip this measurement.
We will count it from your height.
C - SHOULDERS WIDTH
Measure across the top of the back arching from the tip of one shoulder to the tip of the other,
it's should not be a perfectly straight line but rather follow your natural curvature of the upper back.
If you struggle to identify the tip but have a blazer that fits well, you can simply measure between the shoulder seams.
D - CHEST
Stand up straight and hold the measuring tape at roughly nipple level,
wind it under the armpits and over the shoulder blades. This should be the circumference of your chest at its widest point.
E - STOMACH
Measure the widest part of your abdomen, usually around the level of your belly button, ensuring the tape is level.
Try not to suck your tummy in, else the measurement will be too small.
F - HIPS
Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat (tailor term for bum).
Stand feet hip width apart, making sure your pockets are empty and the tape is level and untwisted
G - SLEEVE LENGTH
Measure your arm from your shoulder down to your desired length,
generally at the base of the thumb where it meets your wrist.
Simpler way is put on well fits blazer and measure from top arm seam until sleeve hem.
If you have a problem you can skip this measurement.We will count it from your height.
Measurements for lower garments: trousers and extra measurements for breeches BRY1, BRY2, BRY3
1 - TROUSERS LENGTH
Put on trousers fit you well, then measure vertically from place where there is a seam on the waistband down along the side trousers seam utill floor
ATTENTION: Before you take this measurement put the pants in right place in waist .They should't to be neither too lowed nor too tucked up
2 - TROUSER WAIST
Measure around your waist at the height where you would like to wear your pants,
which is likely different than your natural waist. Do not pull the tape measure too tight.
If you are not sure and have an existing pair of trousers that fit as you would like, wear them,
and measure around the waist band where they sit.
3 - TROUSER HIPS
Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat (tailor term for bum).
Stand feet hip width apart, making sure your pockets are empty and the tape is level and untwisted.
Extra Breeches Measurements:
Extra Breeches Measurements: We attach them extra to trousers measuremants A, B, C
BRY1 - UNDER KNEE (For breeches only )
Take the circumference of your under knee.
BRY2 - CALF (For breeches only )
We measure circumference around the calf.
BRY3 - ABOVE ANKLE (For breeches only )
We measure circumference right above the ankle.
Extra Measurements for Garments Super-Fit.
SLIM 1 - UPPER ARM (Extra measurement need only for SUPER SLIM suits,blazers,tuxedos etc)
We measure circumference around the biceps.
SLIM 2 - BACK WIDTH (Extra measurement need only for SUPER SLIM suits,blazers,tuxedos etc)
Measure from the back of the left armpit,across the shoulder blades, until back of the right armpit. Do not measure under the arms.
SLIM 3 - THIGH (Extra measurement need only for SUPER SLIM trousers)
Measure the circumference of your thigh at its widest point, this is usually near the top of the inseam but may be slightly lower depending on your physique.
Extra Measurements for Uniforms and Caps
OS - NECK (Measurement need only for hisorical uniforms)
Measure the circumference of your neck at the height where your collar would sit.
OG - HEAD - (Measurement for top hats,caps,hats )
We measure circumference around the head right above ears.
